The Tomb Of Akbar The Great at Sikandara is neither as magnificent as the Taj Mahal nor as grand as Red Fort, but it is still a worth visiting piece of Mughal Architecture. This tomb is situated at Sikandara, about 14 km from the Taj Mahal in Agra. While traveling on the main Agra-Mathura National Highway 2, at Sikandara, you can view a large handsome gateway of carved stones at the right side. This beautiful gateway opens into an amazing garden, at the end of which is a building of four storeys, that houses the monument of Akbar The Great.
